Live from Game 1 of the AFL...

...and it's hot.  They keep saying the weather has "broken" here...if by broken they mean hot, then yes, it has broken.

So far the play has been pretty good - which is all you can expect for game one wherein a lot of these guys are seeing live game action for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Currently, Team USA is trailing the Peoria Javelinas 5-4 in the top of the 7th.  The D has been solid and the guys have been hitting.  Starter Matt Wright goes three innings, and since then Manager Davey Johnson has run out a parade of relievers.
